NEW YORK — Stocks tumbled Friday under the weight of a surprisingly poor
jobs report for December and negative brokerage calls on phone companies.

The Dow Jones industrial average (search) ended down 133.55 points, or 1.26
percent, at 10,458.89, its biggest single-day percentage drop since October
2003. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index (search) fell 10.06 points, or 0.89
percent, to 1,121.86, its biggest such fall since mid-November of last year.
The technology-laden Nasdaq Composite Index (search) fell 13.33 points, or
0.63 percent, to 2,086.92.

For the week, the Dow gained 0.5 percent, while the Nasdaq jumped 4 percent
and the S&P 500 advanced 1.2 percent.

Before the market opened, the Labor Department (search) reported that the
nation's unemployment rate dropped to 5.7 percent in December, but that
companies added only 1,000 new jobs in an anemic holiday-hiring performance.
Analysts had been expecting a gain of 100,000 to 150,000.

"It's certainly negative for market sentiment," said Edgar Peters, chief
investment officer at PanAgora Asset Management. "The 1,000 jobs is like no
jobs, and people seem to consider that an important indicator of the
recovery."

Mam porownanie bo wyjatkowo bylem w sobote i niedziele w kinie ( no na filmie
gdyby sie ktos domagal szczegolow). W sobote na "Last holiday(s?)" - niezla
komedia - akcja w ...Karlovych Varach. Tlumy, pelne kino. Dzisiaj bylem
na "Casanovie" - kostiumowa bajeczka, no i pustki..moze z 10 osob na sali.
Ps. wiem, wiem grali futbolisci...A ja powtarzam! Jerstem szczesliwy, ze mnie
to nie grzeje. Nie grzeje i podnieca mnie Golota czy Adamek...A kiedys bylem
glupi i pasjonowalem sie boksem, nawet zuzlem...bo nasi wygrywali. Stracony
czas! Dzis zaluje tego straconego czasu, ktory moglem poswiecic na wazniejsze
sprawy. No ale aby to zrozumiec trzeba osiagnac pewien wiek.
jak sie dostać do Turcji?. fajne są połączenia tanimi liniami z lotnisk lokalnych w PL do Londynu i potem do Stambułu. Ja rezerwując z miesięcznym wyprzedzeniem załatwiłam sobie bilety za ok. 500 zł (koszt całkowity w 2 strony).
